On Nov. 10, 2014, ARHU hosted its first installment of the 2014-2015 Worldwise Dean's Lecture Series with Walter Isaacson.
Isaacson is credited with unlocking the codes of innovation and the people who dream and execute game changing breakthroughs. His biography, “Steve Jobs,” broke U.S. biography sales records and his latest book, “The Innovators: How a Group of Inventors, Hackers, Geniuses and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution,” is nominated for a National Book Award. Former CEO of CNN and current CEO of Aspen Institute argues that the future belongs to those who can appreciate the arts, humanities and sciences.
The mission of the Center is to promote and support diverse forms of inquiry in the humanities. The Center’s work engages stakeholders in innovative and inclusive approaches to understanding the value of the humanities for improving our lives.
