Narrative 4 builds a community of empathic global citizens who improve the world through the exchange of personal narratives.
Narrative4 will engage a group of Baltimore high school students and Baltimore first responders in a structured story exchange as a way to break down barriers and increase empathy.
This event is part of Baltimore Stories programming but is by invitation only.
The Baltimore Stories project has been made possible in part by a major grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities, and is a collaboration between the University of Maryland, Maryland Humanities, the University of Maryland Baltimore County, Enoch Pratt Free Library and the Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance.
The mission of the Center is to promote and support diverse forms of inquiry in the humanities. The Center’s work engages stakeholders in innovative and inclusive approaches to understanding the value of the humanities for improving our lives.
