Baltimore Thinkathon 4

Celebrating its fourth year, the Baltimore Thinkathon gathered artists, scholars and activists for an intensive “think and do” event. Last year’s Thinkathon was held during the uprising, and more than 120 folks from across the city came and worked together on ideas and projects that contributed to the responses of the Baltimore art and culture sector, including one of the first NEH Humanities in the Public Square grants.
We believe strongly in the ability of the arts and humanities to take on the challenges of the city and help move toward solutions. The combination of creative thinkers, practitioners, and arts and culture activists from around the city presents a powerful tool for problem solving and interdisciplinary collaboration, yielding short and long term outcomes.
University of Maryland Arts and Humanities Center for Synergy in partnership with the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and the Greater Baltimore Culture Alliance invite you to the fourth annual Baltimore Thinkathon.
