Baltimore Stories: Baltimore Coalition Stories

Brown Memorial Park Avenue Presbyterian Church, 1316 Park Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21217
Saturday, October 29, 2016 - 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

Join us for a community conversation about the importance of coalitions in building democracy, fostering social justice, and improving Baltimore’s future. Baltimore humanities scholars, cultural organizers, and non-profit partners will discuss their efforts to help communities empower themselves towards social change. Now more than ever, it is crucial to consider the role of coalitions, forged across boundaries, in practicing public humanities and supporting the work of active and engaged communities.
