With the Office of Research Administration, ARHU is co-sponsoring a nuts and bolts How To Prepare Grant Budgets Workshop in 1102J Francis Scott Key. We’ve heard from many of you that this is something you’d like to learn more about. In this workshop you’ll have an opportunity to learn about relevant budget categories, allowable costs, and UMD guidelines for budgeting benefits, indirect costs, graduate student stipends, etc. You’ll also learn how to use a newly adapted, pre-populated budget template, and have your questions answered. We are offering two dates (November 5th and 6th) to accommodate more faculty schedules. Please RSVP (ckenned3@umd.edu) and indicate which date you plan to attend.
