ARHU’s Collegiate Council and Dean Bonnie Thornton Dill invite ARHU faculty, graduate students, and staff to a town hall to discuss scholarship and creative practice during the campus closure. Hear about updated policies regarding access to facilities, campus libraries and archives, and ask your own questions. 

The interdisciplinary field of the medical humanities first emerged in the late 20thcentury as a way of drawing on the creative and intellectual strengths of humanistic disciplines such as art, feminist and queer theory, literature, and philosophy to augment the theory and practice of medicine, disrupting the historical silos of academic knowledge in order to rethink patient experience, culture, and clinical ethics.

Looking Ahead: The ADA Turns 30

The 3rd Biennial University of Maryland Disability Summit will take place on Friday, April 5th, 2019. All panels and presentations will take place in McKeldin Library on the University of Maryland, College Park campus.
