Baltimore Stories: Imagining Baltimore

2900 Barclay Street Baltimore, MD 21218
Monday, November 28, 2016 - 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM

Imagining Baltimore

What is the Baltimore you imagine? With the help of BeMore Consultants, Barclay Community School and the Maryland Institute College of Art, we are providing a platform where ideas about improving Baltimore can be shared and discussed. At this event, we will gather a group of middle school students from Barclay Community School to think and imagine about the Baltimore they want to live in. Artists from MICA will also be commissioned to participate, sketching and creating pictures that depict the wishes of the children. The images will be displayed at our final event from 9am to 3:30pm, December 3rd at UMBC and will be presented to city officials so that they can be helpful in the planning for the city.

This event is by invitation only since it is during the school day.

We are still recruiting artists for this event. A stipend will be provided. Please contact arhusynergy@umd.edu for more information if you are interested in participating in this event as an artist.
