Reflecting on Baltimore Stories Event

Please join us for this culminating event of our Baltimore Stories grant. This daylong event will offer the opportunity for reflection on the programming of the past year and consider its impact on the understanding of Baltimore's future narratives. The event will look at how narratives about Baltimore are made and disseminated in and through media, who speaks for Baltimore, and what these stories mean for the future of the city. Humanities scholars, community organizers, youth activists and other guests will speak about their work with and in Baltimore communities. The event will also showcase media, video and digital storytelling projects reflecting Baltimore's stories.
Directions to UMBC. Parking is Free, Lot 8 and spaces along Hilltop Circle (campus loop road).
Registration and sign in 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Morning refreshments and lunch will be provided.
