RESEARCH WORKING GROUPS

The College is coordinating a pilot for Research Working Groups for faculty to work together on contemporary and historical topics that are relevant in the arts and humanities today. A Pilot Research Working Group can apply for up to $2000 in support from ARHU. Funding support can be used for expenses such as travel, hosting speakers, creating materials, supplies, graduate assistants, food, and programming. Leading a pilot is open to any faculty member (TTK and PTK).
Goals of the Pilot Research Working Group:
-
To generate scholarship and creativity focused on key topics of current interest in respective fields in arts and humanities
-
To create outputs that further professional development of members, such as grant applications, manuscripts, conference ideas, etc.
-
To generate possibilities for mentorship by bringing senior and junior faculty together across disciplines and departments working on common goals.
-
To assess the feasibility of a Research Working Group to meet the above goals.
