Baltimore THINKATHON3

Westminster Hall, Baltimore, MD
Thursday, April 30, 2015 - 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

The University of Maryland College of Arts & Humanities invites you to Baltimore THINKATHON3!

Registration has been extended through Tuesday, April 28, 2015.

Do you believe that art and culture can save a city? We do! Building on the success of the past two years, we will again gather for a one-day collaboration of invited humanists, artists, professionals, researchers, social activists, scientists, foundations and area political representatives. We believe strongly in the ability of the arts and humanities to take on the challenges of the city and help move toward solutions. The combination of creative thinkers, practitioners and arts and culture social activists from around the city presents a powerful tool for problem solving.

This year, we will be joined by the members of organizations taking part in DeVos Institute’s Capacity Building: Baltimore and the current GBCA Urban Arts Leadership Program fellows. As with our previous two Thinkathons, we expect that the ideas generated will result in a number of nascent grant, action and research ideas which will serve as bases for new collaborations. So save the date and get ready to suggest a topic at registration!

Register for the event by Tuesday, April 28th. Reserve your space today: www.arhu.umd.edu/thinkathon.
