American Moor

The one-man play, entitled American Moor, engages around themes of blackness and maleness in the context of a black male actor’s audition for the role of Othello.  

This is an opportunity for campus to engage around issues of how black men are constructed by mainstream America, stereotyped and marginalized.  There will be a discussion immediately following the play.
